Why Aubrey

What Aubrey houses need

Aubrey is where the neighbor effect is most obvious in our schedule. One house on a street tends to become five, and we have run whole cul-de-sacs in Silverado and Sandbrock Ranch in a single afternoon.

We work the Silverado, Sandbrock Ranch, Winn Ridge and Arrow Brooke areas, and we know the drive between them. Around Historic Aubrey and Sandbrock Ranch, the routes are tight enough that a mid-season fix is a short trip rather than a rescheduled day.

Every Aubrey install starts the same way: Bill walks the property, counts the peaks and dormers, and cuts each strand to fit. No stretched runs to reach an outlet, no dark gaps at the corners, no sagging clip lines by the second week of December.

The Houses

What we are working with in Aubrey

Aubrey still has one foot in ranch country. Between the newer subdivisions there are older properties with outbuildings, long fence runs, and the kind of entry gates that are worth lighting on their own. Two houses a mile apart here can need completely different quotes.

On The Ground

How Aubrey jobs actually run

Aubrey is also where word of mouth moves fastest for us. One house on a street reliably turns into several, and we have run entire cul-de-sacs here in one afternoon. It sits close enough to the Pilot Point building that we can add a late booking to an existing day rather than pushing it a week.

Our Work In Aubrey

We have actually been here

7Aubrey properties
on our books

Seven Aubrey properties are on our books, and five of them are neighbours in the same cluster. That is not a coincidence we are dressing up: it is written that way in the job book because that is how the street filled in. One house went up, and the rest of the block followed.

The Aubrey neighborhoods we work

Silverado and Sandbrock Ranch are where the neighbour clustering happens. Consistent elevations mean a lit street looks coordinated rather than piecemeal.

Winn Ridge and Arrow Brooke are similar in character, newer and roof-led.

Away from the subdivisions, the older Aubrey properties have acreage, outbuildings and fence lines, and they are quoted more like Pilot Point ranch work than like subdivision work.

What It Costs

Pricing for a Aubrey house

Aubrey spans two quite different kinds of property, and the pricing spans with it. Newer subdivision homes with consistent front elevations tend to sit in the lower and middle bands. Older places with outbuildings, fence runs and gates can go considerably further if you want all of it lit.

The subdivision jobs are efficient for us because the elevations repeat, and that efficiency is reflected in the quote rather than kept.

On the acreage side, the same rule applies as in Pilot Point: price follows what is actually on the property, not what the address suggests.

The three bands are the same everywhere we work: $1,000 to $1,500 for a roofline, $1,500 to $2,500 once trees and beds come in, and $2,500 and up for a full property. Our minimum job is $1,000. See how pricing works →

When to call if you are in Aubrey

Aubrey is our clearest example of the neighbour effect. Five of the properties on our books here are in one cluster, and it did not happen by canvassing. One house went up and the street followed.

Practically, that means if a neighbour of yours is already a customer, we may be able to add you to a day we are already running. Ask when you call.

It is a short run from the Pilot Point building, so Aubrey gets quick turnaround on mid-season fixes.

In Aubrey

What we light

Roofline lighting in Aubrey

Consistent front elevations in the newer sections, which makes a whole street look deliberate when several houses are lit the same way. On the older acreage properties the approach is closer to what we do in Pilot Point.

Tree wrapping in Aubrey

Young trees in the subdivisions, mature stock on the older properties. Two different jobs, quoted differently.

Gates, fences and outbuildings in Aubrey

On the acreage side, the fence line and the entry are often worth more to the overall look than additional roofline would be.

Commercial work in Aubrey

Local businesses and community entrances, on the same terms as residential.

Questions

Aubrey questions

How much does Christmas light installation cost in Aubrey?

Most Aubrey homes land between $1,000 and $2,500, depending on roofline length, how many trees you want wrapped, and how much of the property gets lit. Bill walks the property and gives you the number before anything goes up.

Do you install in Aubrey, or only nearby?

Yes. Aubrey is an active market for us, and we install across 76227.

Is takedown included on a Aubrey job, or billed separately?

Included. Every Aubrey job covers takedown after the season and storage at our building in Pilot Point until next year. It is inside the price you approve up front and never invoiced later.

What happens if a section goes dark in December?

Call Bill. We come back out to Aubrey and fix it at no charge. That is the whole policy, and it is the reason we supply the lights rather than hanging yours.

Do you need to come out before you can quote my Aubrey house?

Yes, and it takes about twenty minutes. Bill counts the peaks and dormers, looks at the trees and the power, and gives you the number from that. A quote given without seeing the house is a guess, and guesses get revised after the crew arrives.

How far ahead should I book in Aubrey?

As early as you can. Dates go in the order they are booked, and calling early still gives you the most say in your install date.

Do you charge extra to come out to Aubrey?

No. There is no separate trip charge for Aubrey. The drive is inside the number you approve, and it does not change if you need us back mid-season.

Which Aubrey neighborhoods do you work in?

Silverado, Sandbrock Ranch, Winn Ridge and Arrow Brooke, plus the streets around them. If you are not sure whether we reach your address, call and ask.
