Willow Bend has the mature tree canopy that defines west Plano, and it changes what a display should be. Roof light filtered through a full canopy does less than a wrapped trunk standing in front of it.
Deerfield and Kings Ridge run to larger custom homes with several roof planes meeting at genuine angles. Those are the properties where cutting every strand on site stops being a nicety.
The Prestonwood area and Whiffletree have the established-street character where restraint tends to look better than volume. A clean line and two well-wrapped trees beats a house covered end to end.

Pricing for a Plano house
Plano is the town where the walkthrough changes the number most. The housing stock runs from modest single-storeys to large custom homes with four or five separate roof planes, and those two do not belong in the same band.
Mature trees are the other factor. A Plano lot with two forty-year-old oaks has more lighting potential in the yard than on the roof, and wrapping those trees properly costs more than running another fifty feet of gutter line. It also does more for the house from the street, which is usually the point.
